It seems that fewer and fewer people today are capable of actually reading, and even fewer are capable of a charitable read. The concept of a charitable read is important, but seems to have been lost. Today I read a simple article that you can find here. In it, I found this: “And sorry, we… Continue reading Editing and Charitable Reading

The Memory Hole is Very Real
If you’re not familiar with the memory hole, it’s when information starts disappearing. It’s happening again (it actually happens pretty often). See this post. If you follow up and check, you will see that the video is starting to disappear. This is in part why my original post here (now password protected) was verbose and complete… Continue reading The Memory Hole is Very Real
Silk Road Judge Doxxed and MSM Lies About it (REDACTED)
REDACTED: My hosting provider has stated that they do not want to host the kind of content to which the US Marshals Service has objected (dox). Given the recent events in Canada, I am emailing my MP with the following letter, and opening it up for anyone that would like to use it or part of it to email their own MP. Hello Gary, I am concerned about recent events causing hysteria and fostering bad ideas like “preventative measures” to detain… Continue reading Open Letter to My MP: Freedom is our nationality, and it’s not for sale

Biometric ID Rollout in Africa
While the ebola virus continues to devastate Western Africa, the rollout of biometric IDs is all but completely ignored in the media, but it could cause even greater devastation as the world marches towards a totalitarian surveillance police state. Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, and Ghana all have cards, while others are either in the process… Continue reading Biometric ID Rollout in Africa

Pharma Marketing vs. Research Spending
Here’s a quick little tidbit: GSK’s “selling, general and administration” costs were over 2x what they spent on research. PDF of their annual report is here: http://www.gsk.com/media/325156/annual-report-2013.pdf Pages 63 and 66. Here’s a relevant clip from page 63. So, there you have it. Marketing is twice as important as research.
