All items are described as accurately as possible. However, as many are antiques, used, or old stock, descriptions may miss minor issues, e.g. scratches, etc. Significant issues may be shown in photos or described.
Regarding antiques, we make significant efforts to determine as much as possible about them, but it is possible for us to make mistakes. Potential buyers should examine the item’s photos. Should you have questions prior to purchase, contact us. However, keep in mind that we put as much into the descriptions and photos as possible and we are unlikely to know much more.
Some items may not be in working order. We try to test items, but cannot test everything, e.g. some antique rifles or shotguns. If we find that an item is not functional, it will be noted in the description. However, it is possible that we find an item to be functional with our limited testing, and that while it is functional to that point, greater levels of functionality may be absent, e.g. testing firearms will usually not include live firing of the firearm, but only dry firing, etc.
